Colophon
How this site is made, where its numbers come from, and what I use day to day.
This site is designed by me and built using Craft CMS, with templates in Twig, and CSS and JavaScript bundled by Vite.
Help graciously provided by Jasper, who also has a better site than me.
Logomark provided by Beto, who runs design at Buffalo.
Headings are set in FH Lecturis, reading text in FH Dfaalt and the small print in FH Premier Mono.
Where the data comes from
- Listening: every play since 2007 from Last.fm (with gaps filled from Spotify), synced every ten minutes or so. Album covers from my own collection or Last.fm.
- Reading: a Goodreads export to start with, kept up by hand since, short reviews, and covers from Open Library.
- Watching: my Letterboxd diary.
- Gigs: ticket stubs and emails going back to 1999. I wish I had kept more and that real tickets were still common.
Accessibility
The site follows your device: light or dark, and if you've asked for less motion, nothing types in or fades. Every page works with a keyboard and a screen reader, text keeps its contrast in both themes, and pages print cleanly on paper.
