Blood Meridian

Tough going. Utterly brutal. Language is amazing. Scene and setting vivid too. Struggling to finish it. Returned to it months later. Last third much easier to read. Overall it feels like it could have been a classic but was purposefully made to be hard to read. I think a lot of the people raving are doing so because other people rave about it.
